Maria Ferla

Maria Ferla (2nd TG) was born in Palermo, 4 November 1991. At the age of seven years he enrolled in dance school Tersicores, under the direction of Nadia Genova. It is mainly devoted to the study of classical dance, also integrating modern dance, contemporary and hip hop.
During his artistic career, he was able to attend workshops with masters such as Eugenio Buratti and local dance competitions in collaboration with UISP. Between 15 and 16 also attends other disciplines such as gymnastics, swimming pool and fit-boxing. At age 17, he is approaching the martial arts, after having gained a passion for oriental philosophies and practices.
In September 2009, he knows Sifu Salvatore La Licata that speaks of Wing Tsun. He begins to attend classes from next December and immediately falls in love this style of kung fu.
In May 2010 he enrolled at IWTFA and already in October 2010 obtained the first degree student with Sifu Nunzio Nastasi.
Its preparation and its path at the same time grow the passion for Wing Tsun, which also devotes some written reflections.
On July of 2012, along with four other companions, passed the exam and first technical wing tsun.
Since 2012 at the same time to the study of Wing Tsun, also it approaches to the teaching of the same; together with Sifu Salvatore La Licata following personal self-defense classes, women's self defense and Wing Tsun, managing to involve high school.
The November 10, 2013, together with Sifu Salvatore La Licata and other masters and instructors went to Hong Kong, a wonderful experience, knows many masters, visit the school of GM Leung Ting, the Ip Man's grave, various temples and museums.
Most recently, in March 2016 he obtained a master's degree in law and continues to study Wing Tsun with passion.
